The Brief
The headmaster and marketing team at The Oratory Prep School came to us with a challenge. They wanted to let people know that they are a mixed school of boys and girls; not a boys-only school as they are sometimes seen. They are passionate about their ethos, community and pastoral side of school life, so were very keen to show that.
What we did
We worked with The Oratory Prep School to create a series of promotional school videos that unpacked the various aspects of the school from a film about Pre-Prep to one about Academia, Pastoral Care and Co-Ed life. These were combined with a core film for the website homepage that shows their school in a nutshell. By filming interviews using a special piece of equipment that enables interviewees to speak directly to the camera but looking at a reflection of the Director, we were able to get honest and passionate sound-bites from the headmaster, teachers and pupils.
Outcome
The Oratory Prep School now have one video on their website that characterises the school and encapsulates what it’s like to be a pupil there. Then, for parents who want to learn more, they can watch a series of different videos that delve deeper into school life.
